Marisa Acosta lives in San Diego California.

Her passion for performing began at an early age when she  was in her first school play. She began her career in community youth theatre at age 10 when she played Marcie in San Diego

Junior Theatre’s production of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Some  of her favorite performances include: 13, The Musical (Lucy),
Seussical (Mayzie), and Big River (Joanna Wilkes).
She was only 12 years old when she played Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables
opposite a cast of mostly high school and college age performers. In the summer of 2010

Marisa launched “My Life in Musical Theatre” www.mylifeinmusicaltheatre.com a documentary style reality show that follows her experiences during the making of the musical “13”. Marisa co-created the show with the help of Vanessa Rodriguez-Spencer. Ms. Rodriguez-Spencer is a \well known Hollywood producer and casting director best known for her work in the phenomenally successful HBO series,
Entourage. Marisa plans to continue pursuing her passion for performing in the coming years and looks forward to attending UCLA film school or Yale Drama and one day having a successful career in media and the performing arts.
